I'm Positive.

I was listening to my favorite morning radio program before going to work today. One of the station’s commercial talked about Christmas wishes…I thought I do not have a Christmas list but while listening, I randomly list all my wishes...well, I know not all on my list will come true but I do hope that some will…specially my wish that my husband will have a job early next year (hopefully by January). He received a call from one of the companies where he submitted work requirements for pa job listings. He also received a call from a friend about an available job by January and a feedback from his former company that his visa will be ready by the end of December. We’re positive that he’ll get a job. I know if the Lord wills, everything be alright with us.

Revelation Day and a Wish Granted!

We had our yearly kris-kringle (Monito-Monita) revelation day in the office this afternoon. We had so much fun! We had sumptuous lunch complete with the best seller conti's Mango Bravo cake (wasn't able to take a pic since it's gone in just a few seconds, lol!) . We enjoyed lots of food!

The most exciting part is of course, the revelation part where we revealed the faces behind the code names. It's usually the fun part of the day. And indeed we had fun. All wishes were granted as well. And was the part I really loved. I got what I wished for and here it is....

.....yes! it's a Baby Couture diaper bag...!! I really love my mommy! (she's the one who chose the color and style) She was not able to give me all the items for the something-something but she gave me what I really wanted. I'm soooo happy.

Dream vacation

I’m dreaming of one of those cancun family vacations someday. I’ll let you in a secret…I’ve never traveled abroad since birth, lol! Ive never even traveled the whole Philippines. We’ll I’m a home buddy and I am not a well-traveled person. The farthest place that I’ve been was Zamboanga City and that’s way…way back in 2002. Now that I have my own family, how I wish that we can travel abroad for a family vacation. I wish that I can bring my family to Azul Beach Hotel at Riviera Maya someday. I’ve read that it’s a good place for family get together. They offer the best vacation facilities with the best service. They also promise good pampering for everyone that will come there to enjoy the place. Pampering…that’s what I love to have right now…

Geez, I guess I really have to save for that dream vacation. And I hope that someday my wish will come true.

Big Sister

My darling little girl...she has already accepted the fact that she's now the "Big Sister".

Since we learned that we're having another baby, I've got mixed emotions. For more than three years, I treated the little girl as my baby and the thought of having another child made me realized that there's going to be another addition to the family and that my little baby will now become an "ATE". During the first months of my pregnancy she had a hard time accepting that. She would always say that she's the baby and what's inside mommy's tummy is the "Ate". But as my tummy grows, her level of acceptance also improved.

Now, she would always talk to baby and tell him what she did in school, what she's eating (that it's not meant for sharing yet since baby is still inside), what she did with mommy and daddy (that she enjoyed the rides or the place so much and when the baby comes out they will play together...)

And when I cry because of leg cramps or tummy aches, she would always stop what she's doing and will ask me why and what's wrong..then she'll get anything that will soothe my pain or call her dad to help me.

That's my little girl...and though she's now the big sister, she would always remain mommy's baby :)

We should get one NOW.

Until now we haven't avail the offer yet from our friend who works in an insurance marketing firm. She's been offering us various insurance plans since our daughter was still months old but we haven't availed any until now. I know that getting insurance is beneficial and a good investment. It's just that we don't know what plan to get. She phoned us last Saturday again and was surprised that we're going to have another baby. She said we should consider getting a plan now that our family is getting bigger. I know she's right. So we'll be meeting her next week to talk about the plans.

It our last GA and Christmas Party later after that, I'll be attending our band rehearsal for Sunday's worship service. Sigh....it's going to be a busy day err..night, I guess. I'll be coming home late so I won't be able to see the little girl before she sleeps. I won't be able to finished some online tasks as well since I 'll be going straigt to my bed after the practice. I've been sleeping late this past few days so bawi muna ako...tomorrow, I'll have also a busy day ahead of me. It's the schedule of my CAS (congenital anomaly scan) in the morning and in the afternoon, I'll buy some materials for the Christmas Party decoration next week. Then (hopefuilly)  I'll finish all my pending online tasks.
December is quite a busy month noh?

Today when we we're driving to the shuttle station, I was greeted with the cool breeze of the morning….no doubt, Christmas is just around the corner. I love the climate during this season and I am now feeling the cool breeze more evidently than before when we were still in our former home because there, we are not surrounded by trees unlike here in our new home.
I guess in some parts of the world, they are also enjoying the cold season. And I guess it's colder because of the snow. And maybe now people at myrtle beach condo rental are busy removing the snows on their rooftops. Theirs are called, white Christmas…and I wish we can also experience white Christmas here in our country. I wonder what we would do if we experienced one....

Smile and....

Right now, everyone's seems busy looking out for their gifts to their babies. We'll be having our last general assembly for the year tomorrow and it would also be a mini early Christmas celebration. The committee prepared a program and that includes the Kris-Kringle (gift-giving) with matching wish list so everyone now is busy to grant everyone's wishes. As for me, I could have wish for a Personalized Jewelry but I don't want to put pressure to my mommy/daddy, who ever he/she is so I made my wish easy to look for and within the allotted budget. I just hope that I'll received what I wished for.

Loots {pics}

Ooooppps!.. forgot to post the pictures...here they are....

I'm posting using my email...if you can read this, then my attempt is successful

I was able to visit the sale at Richwell last Saturday with my sisters. A lot of people are there rummaging through the items. The line to the cashier was super long as well, maybe the reason why some people who just arrived also left at once.

As for me, I was able to buy 2 pairs of shoes @ P200 per pair for my daughter and a leap pad book and cartridge worth P100. My sisters were able to buy a lot for our nieces and nephews. They're quite satisfied, I guess..

Outside Richwell, there's 2 other outlets that were being crowded by people at Topy's place. The Attitudes sale and the watch sale. We went to see the watches and yes, I bought three kid's watches (myscene) originally priced @ P1,300+ to P1,400+ but with an 80% off, was able to get them at less than P300 each. Quite a steal! It's really an enjoyable experience. Next Saturday, our schedule is to visit the gingersnaps warehouse, if my health and schedule permits.
