Too much!!

My landlady is giving me a headache! I'm am so exasperated!

Last night, I saw this piece of paper on top of our display cabinet. Written there was the computation of our rental dues, based on my land lady's computation. Our monthly payment schedule is every 21st of the month. But before Jerry, left, we usually pay on the 24th or 25th. I asked her last month that since Jerry's remittance comes every end of the month, I requested if we can just pay it every end of the month instead, and she agreed. But then I saw this paper, and I really got sooooo irritated. Why? because the lady is charging me penalties for every single day of delay, computed as monthly dues divide by 30 days. And since our due date is the 21st, based on her computation, I'm 4 days delayed. What's with her???!!?? How illegal is that? Halleerrr!!! Where on earth did she picked up that idea? to charge penalties for every single day of delayed payment? On top of that she's also charging me 1,000 for the replacement of the door in our room. Another unfair charges! my logic is, if I left this apartment ba, can I also bring with us that door?? Hello!?? That's part of their fixed asset, right? She's really tooooo much of a hoaxer.

This is it! I really need to start looking for another place better that this.

I'm 29

Today as I turn 29, I want to give all the glory back to God.
This is not a celebration for my self,
But as a thanksgiving to my God.
This day is not really meant to celebrate for ME.
I am nothing without Him.
I want to remind my self that it is He who made me live up to this moment
It is He who gives me life and adds to it.

And today.. I’m quoting this phrase:

“It’s all about you, Jesus
And all this is for You,
For your glory and your fame
It’s not about me…
as if you should do things my way,
You alone are God and I surrender...to your ways...”

I'm thankful for the
...29 years of guidance
...29 years of protection
...29 years of provision
...29 years of love
...people He allowed me to have and meet
...events He allowed me to experience
...hardships and sadness He allowed me to feel
...joy and happiness He allowed to enjoy

Thank you Lord for the 29 years of life.

Blag!

5 am...

Ngumiti. Naglaro. Ni-kiss si mommy niya at naglaro uli. Tapos nakatulog ulit. Buti na lang okay lang siya, kung hindi lagot ako sa daddy niya. :(

Reunited

Last Saturday, we went to Gateway Mall to meet my college friends. I brought my daughter with me since they all wanted to see her. Since we came ahead of time, we stroll around first and wait for them to arrive. I’m really excited to see them, really!

We had a wonderful day. We talked about almost everything to keep us updated of each others lives it's as if we're turning back time. Three of them are still single, two were not involved in any relationships as of the moment. Sobrang daming dapat pag kwentuhan, but unfortunately, we neeeded to go since my daughter was getting fussy. But we promised to keep in touch. And all agreed to visit my home and celebrate my birthday on Sunday.

After seven years, we’re finally and complete ly reunited! Thanks to technology and yes, to Friendster. It was instrumental to our reunion.

Amazing

There are still good people around. And I can attest to that.

Yesterday, I bought a photo album. It’s supposed to be my daughter’s third to finally put her latest pictures. I was not feeling well yesterday so I went first to Clinica Manila for a check-up. (I was diagnosed with Acute Gastritis…arrrgh!!!). After that, I went to the drugstore to buy the prescribed medicines. Then I headed to the shuttle station for my way home. I was in deep contemplation, thinking about several things and texting my husband (It was raining kaya medyo maganda, mag-isip isip… ), when I noticed I was already at Marikina Market. I immediately got off… totally forgot about the album I bought.

I spent some time in the market. Bought some to cook for dinner and other things needed in the kitchen. I was crossing the street when I noticed a white L300 honking its horn incessantly... I have no idea why or who's attention is he trying to get. It was still raining so I ran across and immediately got into the tricycle waiting on the station. I just got in when a man approached me... “Mam, sa inyo po ba ito?” then handed me a blue SM plastic bag and ran back to the white L300. I was surprised! I haven’t even got the chance to say thank you. The passenger beside me muttered, “Buti na lang mabait siya…” And she’s right.

On my past two experiences, the drivers didn’t even bother to return the items I left even if they knew where to return them. I had it twice in a tricycle. Items left are a blouse (which I really like and a bit pricey) and an umbrella. But this time was different…It’s not really a BIG thing. It was just an album. Yet I am really thankful. He even made an effort to left his car and ran after me to give back the item. Few good people indeed.

But come to think of it? It was also amazing, right? Who would have thought that he could still catch me to give the item back? Well, God really moves even in small things and events of our everyday lives.

Unforgettable

My sister invited me to watch Transformers at Gateway last Sunday. I agreed at once since I haven’t watched the movie yet, and of course it’s free! :D. It was my first time to watch movie at the Gateway theater so, I’ll charged the rest of the story to Experience.

We arrived there at 4:00pm, there's already a pile of lines to the ticket area. My sister was the one who bought our tickets. We got the 5:20 slot so we decided to just went around the mall to let time past until our scheduled screening (theaters here are on single screening policy). At 5:15 we went back to Cineplex so we can still watch some trailers. My sister bought some snacks before we went inside.

Here’s the funny-embarrassing-unforgettable part:

My sister holds the ticket. As I’ve said, it was my FIRST to watch there so I just followed her steps. She said that we were assigned at seats H17-19. She went all the way up, my brother and I just followed her. As we go up, I already noticed the H row, but I didn’t mind to tell my sister since I trust she knew what to do and where to go. (Some kind of idiocy on my part :D). We passed two rows, then headed to seats numbers 17-19 and sat comfortably, ate our snacks, talked about the trailers being shown when suddenly, we’re interrupted by a group of 3 people.

Girl: “Excuse me, but I think you’re sitting on our seats..?”
I was speechless and muttered, “Huh?”
Then my sister said: “No, this is our seats. H17-18-19…”
The girl replied: “Ganun? Ibig sabihin magkapareho tayo ng number? J17-19…?
My sister: “No, this is H17-19..”

She checked our tickets, then tapped the woman sitting in front of us and said, “Excuse me, I think you’re sitting on our seat?” the girl in front said: “No, this is our seat. It’s I17-19.”....Yaiks!!!...and again Yaiks!

Noticing that chaos, the theater assistant broke in and told us where are seats were. We stood up, heads bowed down with embarrassment, and went to our seats. We never looked back :D.

It was really embarrassing... bakit naman kasi di ko nasabi na lumagpas na kami sa H???
Anyways, we just forget about what happened and enjoyed the movie. Transformers really compensated our day. It was soooo worth watching!

Tagged

I was tagged by Mitch. It’s about answering this question: “What was I thinking when I first met my current partner?”. Whew! I knew this would really take some time to recall and sure looks like a long posts…so I had to sit down and reminisced…

... as far as I can remember…. :D

I first met jerry in a church’s youth activity. I didn’t know why he’s there. I just thought that he was invited by the head pastor. I barely know him. All I know is that he was from Zamboanga, helping out another church and just visits Manila when needed. But he became the highlight of the event that day when the youth group suddenly did a mock wedding. He was pulled to be the groom…and of course the bride was one of the young ladies of that church who happen to have a great crush on him (it was really obvious!). Of course we were there, my family was there too. We just laughed and joined the fun. I could sense that he was really uncomfortable but for the spirit of sportsmanship, he took part.

I couldn’t understand why, but there’s something in me saying that he’s going to play a big part in my life…I don’t have any idea, and I careless cause I’m busy fixing my life. (My relationship then with my boyfriend was really on the rocks. It was really unhealthy yet I feel like I didn’t have a choice but simply lived the life). On our way home, my mom and my sister told me that they felt something strange too. The same feeling I felt.

Months later, I saw the same person in our church, being introduced by our senior pastor… giving him the position of youth pastor. I was one of the youth leaders then so I know we’ll worked together. We simply get along. He was so accommodating, kind and really smart. My sister, our youth president, became one of his good friends. They clicked together. That started the friendship between him and my family. They like him so much.

Finally, a time came when I became fed up with my relationship. I was really hurting and all I can do is asked counsel. He came. He became my confidante, my councilor. The only person who made me realized that I still have choices. He was the one who guided me right back to my direction. He thought me how to make radical decisions. We became very good friends.

To cut the loooooooong story short, I closed the messy chapter of my life to open a new. This time making my life right before God, with Jerry’s help. He started giving signs of admiration and I yielded. I accepted him, loved him…and loving him still, until now.

I just realized, maybe God allowed us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for the gift. He was the best God given gift for me.

I don't know who else to tag, so just feel free to answer the same question and post it on your blogs ;)

Life's Journey

Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.Only you know what is best for you.Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart.

Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.Do not let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past nor for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live all of the days of your life.Do not give up when you still have something to give.Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying. It is a fragile thread that binds us to each other.

Do not be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.Do not shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give love. The fastest way to lose love is too hold it too tightly. In addition, the best way to keep love is to give it wings

Do not dismiss your dreams. To be without dreams is to be without hope.To be without hope is to be without purpose.Do not run through life so fast that you forget not only where you have been, but also where you are going.

Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
